ENDICOTT (WBNG) -- Union-Endicott's Tiger Ventures welcomed a new addition to its incubator on Thursday.
The company is called AgZeit. It grows crops year-round in a completely controlled indoor environment. School officials say it provides a unique opportunity for students to gain real world experience.
"It's getting kids to see another side of agriculture, and seeing that there's a world of opportunity in that. It's also exciting for kids to see real world application of what they're learning in science class," Tiger Ventures Principal Michaelene Cardell explained.
AgZeit recently located to the Tiger Ventures incubator to teach students entrepreneurial and business start-up skills.
